Two lost souls - a highschool drop out and a 10-year-old runaway - meet in a diner and form a bond over the loneliness of independence.

Over the course of a year, I worked with a small team of students to produce an original short film, titled "Benny." When I wrote the script for Benny in the spring of 2020, I had no idea I would get the opportunity to bring one my favorite pieces of work to life. The following fall, my team and I decided to develop the script into a short film as our senior thesis project for Quinnipiac University. Through the crowdfunding site Seed&Spark, we raised over $12,000 to fund the production of the film. In March, we spent a week on location in southern Connecticut, where I got the honor of directing this short film and bringing my vision to fruition. After a long year of hard work, I'm proud to announce that the film will be officially released later this summer.
